ADS-B data decoded using RTL-2832,
 ADSB# and Virtual Radar.

Data transmitted by aircraft on 1090 Mhz is directly received by RTL dongle with external antenna using ADSB# program, data is further processed by Virtual Radar which uses Google maps to display callsign, location of the aircraft along with altitude, vertical speed, speed, heading etc data in real time, addition information about the aircraft is displayed from "SBS-Resource" database which is stored locally on the computer.

Here's nice RTL-SDR link to get started.
